concerns, or legal notices, contact

1. Using the beta
Please read these terms before using Promptlio. You must be at least
18 and legally able to enter into an agreement under the law that
applies to you. If you use Promptlio for an organization, you must be
authorized to act for it. If you do not agree with these terms, do not
use the service.
These terms cover the public website, guest library, and optional
account synchronization in the current web beta. They do not promise
the availability of native applications, browser extensions, team
collaboration, or any feature described as a demonstration, planned
feature, or release in preparation.
2. Free access and your account
Using the free library does not authorize future charges.
The local library is free. Personal Pro adds account cloud
synchronization. Existing beta accounts retain their included
synchronization access. We do not collect a payment method or enroll a
free account in a paid subscription automatically. A paid purchase
requires a separately disclosed price and your agreement in checkout.
You may use guest mode without an account. If you create an account,
provide an email address you control and keep access to your email
account and devices secure. Do not share access credentials or use
another person’s account without authorization. Tell us promptly if
you suspect unauthorized account access. You are responsible for your
own use of the service, subject to any rights and protections you have
under applicable law.
Personal Pro offers and Paddle
Personal Pro offers are US$2.99 per month, US$19 per year, or US$39
for personal lifetime access, plus applicable taxes. Availability is
shown on the Billing & plans page. Monthly and annual
subscriptions renew until canceled; lifetime access is a one-time
purchase. Existing beta access does not authorize a payment. Checkout
shows the final amount, currency, applicable taxes, renewal interval
and purchase terms before payment. You can manage payment details and
cancel renewal from Billing & plans.
For purchases completed through Paddle, Paddle is the reseller
handling the transaction under its buyer terms. See our
Refunds & cancellations policy for the
request process and relevant policy links. Personal lifetime access
covers Pro functionality for the operating lifetime of Promptlio,
without recurring renewals; future AI/API usage and team seats are not
included.
3. Your prompts and our limited permission
You retain the rights you already have in prompts, templates, and
other material you save. We do not claim ownership of your content.
You must have the rights or permission needed to store and use it.
For content you choose to synchronize, you give us a non-exclusive
permission to store, copy, transmit, and otherwise process it only as
reasonably needed to provide, maintain, secure, back up, and support
Promptlio, consistent with the
Privacy Policy and your instructions. This
permission is not a license to sell your prompts, advertise with them,
or use them to train an AI model.
That permission ends when the relevant content is deleted, except for
limited retention required by law or reasonably necessary for security
and backup rotation. A minimal account-revocation marker may remain as
described in the Privacy Policy. These terms do not give you ownership
of the Promptlio name, branding, or service. Separately licensed
open-source software remains subject to its own license.
4. Acceptable use
Use Promptlio lawfully and respect other people’s rights. Do not:
Store or use material unlawfully, infringe intellectual-property
rights, or upload personal or confidential information without the
necessary authority.
Use the service for fraud, threats, exploitation, harassment, or
other unlawful harm.
Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems;
distribute malware; or interfere with the service.
Evade security controls or reasonable usage protections, or
deliberately overload the service.
Misrepresent your identity or your relationship with Promptlio or
another organization.
These restrictions do not prohibit conduct that applicable law gives
you a non-waivable right to undertake. To report a security issue,
contact us privately and do not access or disclose another person’s
data.
5. Storage, privacy, and deletion
Guest prompts are stored in your browser. Signing in opens a separate
account library; guest prompts are uploaded only if you explicitly
import them. Account libraries are stored locally and synchronized
with the Promptlio backend. The
Privacy Policy explains the current data
flows and storage behavior.
Clearing browser storage, storage eviction, a lost device, software
problems, or synchronization failures can affect your data. Keep an
exported backup of important prompts and protect backup files.
Promptlio is not an end-to-end encrypted vault. Do not store
passwords, private signing keys, payment-card details, or information
that requires protections the service does not provide.
You can export your library and delete your account and active cloud
library from Settings after signing in again with a fresh email link.
Deletion does not remotely erase offline copies on other devices,
copies you exported or shared, or backups that have not completed
their retention cycle. We may retain information where required by law
and the minimal security records described in the Privacy Policy.
6. AI tools and demonstrations
Promptlio organizes text; the current web beta does not generate AI
answers or send your prompts to an AI provider. When you copy or
submit a prompt to another service, that service’s terms and privacy
practices apply. Review the text before sharing it, and check any
AI-generated result for accuracy, legality, and suitability.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other referenced services are independent
third-party products. Their names and marks belong to their respective
owners. Mentioning them does not imply endorsement, partnership, or
affiliation. The landing-page launcher is a local demonstration using
sample data, not an installed integration or a guarantee of
compatibility.
7. Beta availability and changes
We aim to provide Promptlio with reasonable care. This is beta
software: features may change, and interruptions, bugs,
synchronization conflicts, or data loss can occur. We do not offer a
service-level agreement or guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect
security, or error-free operation.
We may make reasonable changes for development, maintenance, security,
or legal reasons. Where practicable, we will give notice before a
material reduction in functionality or a planned shutdown and provide
an opportunity to export account data. Urgent security issues, legal
requirements, or failures outside our reasonable control may prevent
advance notice. Mandatory rights and remedies still apply.
8. Stopping use or restricting access
You may stop using Promptlio at any time. To remove an account, use
account deletion in Settings; to remove guest data, clear the site’s
browser storage after exporting anything you need.
We may reasonably restrict or suspend access to address a material
breach of these terms, unlawful use, a security risk, or a legal
requirement. We will use a proportionate response and, where lawful
and practicable, explain the reason, allow an opportunity to resolve
it, and permit export of your own data. Immediate action may be
necessary to protect users or systems. You may contact us to ask us to
review a restriction.
9. Disclaimers and responsibility
Except for commitments in these terms and rights that cannot lawfully
be excluded, the beta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without
additional promises of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted
availability, or an error-free result. It is not a substitute for
professional legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for
indirect or consequential business losses, lost profits or
opportunities, or losses caused solely by your misuse or by
third-party services outside our reasonable control. This does not
excuse us from responsibility that applicable law places on us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud,
fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, gross
negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any
other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your
mandatory consumer, privacy, and other statutory rights remain
unaffected.
10. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms for changes to the service or applicable
law. We will publish the revised text and effective date here. For
material changes affecting existing account users, we will provide
reasonable advance notice through an appropriate service notice or
email where practicable, and request agreement where required by law.
Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights or change
responsibility for events that happened before the change took effect.
If you do not wish to use the updated service, you may stop using it
and export or delete your data. A change is binding only to the extent
a valid agreement is formed under applicable law.
11. Law, disputes, and contact
Nothing in these terms requires you to give up consumer protections,
access to a regulator, or a right to bring proceedings in a court or
consumer forum available to you under applicable law. There is no
compulsory arbitration or class-action waiver in these terms.
For a concern, complaint, content-rights issue, or request relating to
your data, contact Promptlio support at
hello@promptlio.app. We
welcome an opportunity to resolve an issue, but contacting us first is
not a condition that limits your legal rights. If a provision cannot
lawfully be enforced, the remainder applies to the extent it can
fairly and lawfully do so.
